Last time in Australia was spring 2022: Steampacket Soundz Stage White Night Geelong, home of Wadawurrung people.

Also starting to think about recording new album, in collaboration with Vardos who honed home studio recording skills through 2020 album project The Top Secret Violin Case (supported by City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grants) and others. Stay tuned.

TGK played in Melbourne, Australia on Bar Open 20th anniversary with Faith i Branko (UK)!

TGK play the latest horas from Bucharest, traditional boys dances where they slap themselves, and hit pop songs from non-stop Romanian bars. Their style is very distinctive, with lots of black leather and macho jewellery from downtown Cluj Napoca/ Kolozsvár (capital of Transylvania). Often were called 'Transylvanian Gypsy Kings', 'Terribly Gentlemanly Kings' etc. Always kings.

   Nicu (vocals, keys) and Lucian (violin) have taught members of Australian lady group Vardos in their regular trips to Eastern Europe to study folk and Rroma (sometimes known as Gypsy) music.  Dragomir (electric bass) is tall handsome from middle European background, whose family escaped Stasi persecution.

Sometimes replaced by Mihai Nagy, who has a kinda cowboy look:
